Given that the album cover features Goya’s “Saturn Devouring His Son” I was slightly expecting something a little more disturbed or mournful. What I discovered was a swinging, grooving, jamming doom metal album bordering on a southern country rock groove. The riffs are incredible and the album pretty much just rocks. It’s kind of it’s own little funky doom monster as I can’t really think of any of the other bands I’ve featured that sound like this. Maybe that one Cathedral album, but still, not the same. Some fun jamming for your ears.
